ABOUT US
MISSION
She++ is a nonprofit organization, that works to empower underrepresented groups in technology by dismantling negative stereotypes surrounding technical careers.
We aim to dispel the misconception that Computer Science is not a career for women and minorities by rebranding what it means to be a technologist.

HISTORY
The She++ Organisation first originated from Stanford University, California.
In 2016, we founded the She++ London chapter to expand the initiative globally.

EVENTS
PROGRAMMES

Mentored Hacks & Hackathons
We host multiple hackathons throughout the year, but our main event would is our annual mentored hackathon, She++ Codes London. No prior experience is needed, everyone is welcome to join us! Every year we have a fantastic time creating new and exciting projects in an inclusive environment, with She++ mentors on site. We also held themed hackathons that focused on AI and Game Development (She Codes Morgan Stanley in 2017 and 2018).
Workshops
From learning to use new frameworks such as Django or Ruby On Rails, to meeting and connecting with other techies, improving your coding skills or your interview skills - there's something in these workshops for everyone! Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter for the latest updates on Workshops.
Socials
Everything is more fun when you have someone to share it with! We have a wide range of socials that range from going to coding meet-ups to having a cuppa tea together. It's always a great opportunity to discuss tech, meet other members of She++, or simply be in a warm and inclusive environment.
